At TQH this week

• Dylan continues his Curse of Strahd campaign Monday at 6:30PM at Gamers' Geekery in Cary.

• Velvet, one of our members, is running a homebrew one-shot on Monday, August 17 from 11AM to 1PM at Chapel Hill Public Library. Characters are made on site, so there's nothing to prepare. Feel free to bring food, though the library asks that nothing generate trash and nothing styrofoam comes through the door.

Standing weekly events:

• Moon Dog Meadery (Durham): Open TTRPG Sundays, 12:30-6PM. Free, no table fee. 1104 Broad St.

• Atomic Empire (Durham): D&D Adventurers League every Thursday, 6:30-10:30PM. $7 per session; first session free. 3400 Westgate Dr.

• Game Theory (Raleigh): Board game nights most evenings. 5910 Duraleigh Rd.

• Hot Shots Hideaway (MacGregor Village, Cary): small game night every Tuesday. Card games are free to use; arcade games are pay-to-play.

Coming up

• Paint and Sip Night at Fortnight Brewing in Cary lands Saturday, August 29, with sstf walking us through mini painting technique. Grab a mini from us or bring your own, and the same goes for supplies. Just nothing that sprays.

• Hamish is running an Agatha Christie style mystery one-shot on Saturday, September 5 at Gamers' Geekery, in the Gumshoe system for the first time. Expect suspect dossiers, a corkboard, and yarn.
